I have some bad news. Electric Forces never got off the ground. I hope you
few subscribers received some benefit and entertainment from the first
flush of content. The online books, like The Electric Sky are not free to
me, they are based on licensing fees to publish them. I also pay
contributors for their submissions. Since there were 45 subscribers after
more than two months, it is impossible to continue paying contributors,
along with paying for the site. I covered the costs for the first month,
but for the site to be self-sustaining subscribers were necessary and they
did not appear. I will stop billing those of you on monthly plans and will
refund the yearly subscriptions before the and of April. Anyone who sent a
check, go ahead and void them in your register -- I never deposited them in
the bank just in case something like this happened. Thanks to those who
wanted to see the Picture of the Day continue. I'll never forget your
support.
