p141fig04.19 A laminar cortical circuit for computing binocular disparities in layer 3B of V1 at binocular simple cells.  These cells add positionally disparate inputes from like polarized monocular simple cells (layer 4 of V1).  Binocular simple cells at each position that is sensitive to opposite polarities then add their outputs at complex cells in layer 2/3.
