Subject : Thanks for feedback & new references! SAFIRE: extra comments
Unbelievable - you're fast and made awesome comments! Thank-you very much!! The story becomes more and more fun & interesting with the context you've provided.
A fun point that I just noticed this morning while re-reviewing the ?Dec2023? "The water planet" video :
- Thorium test results
- 46:15 SAFIRE water planet: Thorium test elements [before, after], 84% decrease of Thorium
- 47:01 "... indicative of an accelerated Thorium decay ..." If neutron irradiation is responsible for most changes in a fission reactor, how do the "other modes" of transmutation compare between normal fission reactors and [plan, control]ed modes of Edo Kaal's proposals? Kaal's "Structured Atom Model" is probably countine on specific mechanisms at each step (see his descriptions)? [How much, what type] of control is needed?
- 10-fold reduction of the speed of light? An earlier SAFIRE video (I would have to find which one) commented on a drastic speed of light reduction (maybe a factor of 10?) in the spherical plasma sheets separated by double-layers. I know next to nothing, and mass is different from light except in sci-fi movies going back & forth across time, but is it possible that the speed-of-light-in-near-vaccum reductions are also seen with the mass [electron, proton, beta particle, etc] speeds?. In other words, do the extreme electric field gradients between] plasma double layers, or the high photon densities between double layers, perform as extreme moderators of "neutrons" (from a Quantum Mechanics perspective), or [proton, other] particles (by Kaal's SAM)?
By the way, here are some scattered comments I may already have mentioned at some time :
- both Los Alamos and Lawrence Livermore had done very [specific, rigorous] checks on
SAFIRE results, from what I understand. I never did hear about the contacts at thoser places (naturally - I'm just a public, and don't want to know if that's an issue)
- Paul Anderson of the [SAFIRE, Aureon] teams [was, is] a US Army research chemist
- Lawrence Livermore scientist Anthony Peratt was the first mainstream physicist to take
mythologist David Talbot seriously (at a very initial stage, ~10-20 years before SAFIRE?) Their meeting was a result of Australian amateur physicist Wal Thornhill teaming up with Talbot 20+ years ago, in time to catch Reagan's opening up of federal labs?
- Peratt went on to survey petroglyph sites around the world for the next ~10 years, I think. (I have at least couple of his papers in the same directory (I hope)). Sounds weird, but not if you know high-energy plasmas. His papers, along with Talbot [book, video]s from decades before, are just too much fun. Who cares if they are [true, false, right, wrong]? Sci-Fi can't make this stuff up!
Fun! Stonehenge? :
- I have no idea of Peratt's involvement in the Z-Pinch machine. The long work towards the recent positive fusion result may have been before his time?
